The initial collection categories to be included in the HMCP archives are:

• Benefactors' Collection
• Imagemakers' Collection
• Academics' Collection

Photographs in the HMCP archives will be cross-indexed for reference and will share a common storage facility when not on exhibition. Artists' biographical information and bibliographic reference materials will be included in the archives. The HMCP collections will be available, by request, for inclusion in exhibitions sponsored by other institutions.
